We decided to take advantage of this gorgeous late November day to select our family Christmas tree. Picking a tree and officially kicking off the countdown to Christmas is one of my absolute favorite family traditions. I’ve been looking forward to this day and the beginning of the holiday season since Halloween. With the circumstances that this year has brought, I was especially excited to enjoy some time outdoors with my family making new memories.

While we have visited many wonderful local Christmas tree farms, this was our first trip to Timbuk Farms. Located in Granville, Ohio, this farm featured an amazing selection of 7 different types of tree species including White Pine, Douglas Fir, Canaan Fir, White Spruce, Scotch Pine, Blue Spruce and Concolor Fir over 300 acres of land. There were gorgeous trees throughout the property, making it easy to find the perfect tree while also providing a festive backdrop to document our day. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend if you are looking to cut your own tree this year.

If you are planning a visit to this wonderful Christmas tree farm, their hours are Monday thru Friday 10am to 5pm and weekend hours are 9am to 5pm with no reservations needed. The vast fields are perfect to maintain social distancing standards. They do ask that you wear a mask, which we compiled with during our visit. We were able to avoid large crowds allowing us to remove our masks for photos and when we were in a field that wasn’t ready for harvest and therefore completely free of other families.
