Kings Island is a place that always brings back the best childhood memories with my family. I wanted the boys to have amazing memories too so our first family trip was for Connor’s 4th birthday, when Christopher was just four weeks old. Since that visit last summer, we’ve been back several times, with our favorite time to visit being in the fall.
During weekends in September and October, Kings Island hosts their Tricks and Treats Fall Fest. The park is decorated for Halloween and is perfectly accented by the changing leaves throughout the property to create a festive atmosphere. The event features multiple candy stations, Halloween themed entertainment on the main stage, a digital scavenger hunt, kid-friendly carnival style games and so much more. Combined with the usual rides and attractions, you’ll find family fun to fill the entire day.
If you are planning to visit, Tricks and Treats Fall Fest runs every Saturday and Sunday through November 1, 2020. While you don’t need a reservation, you will need to purchase your tickets online and complete a simple health questionnaire prior to entering the park. They also require a touch less temperature check at the front entrance and have been both polite and speedy during our visits this year. Additionally, masks are required while in the park, with relax zones designated to allow for a quick break from your mask when needed.
