Whether it’s bath time or splashing in puddles, my kids absolutely love playing in water. In the summer, we spend countless hours in our kiddie pool and water table but that fun tapers off during the cooler months. With winter in full swing, I wanted to bring back some of our water play by incorporating a water pouring sensory bin.

I started by collecting bath toys that we already had in our home then added in water, measuring cups and funnels. If you are playing inside, I recommend placing an absorbent bath mat or towel underneath the bin to catch any splashes.

Supply List
- 1 Plastic storage bin
- I used the Sterlite 28qt under bed storage bin
- Water
- Funnels
- Measuring cups or scoops
Optional Supplies
- Bath toys
- Water table accessories
- Sponges
- Bath mat and towels
- Additional water-safe items

For infants and toddlers, this activity can be done with smaller quantities of water and no scoops to minimize spills. As with any water activity, children should always be supervised.
